About Bemfica Vet
Our Mission
At BemficaVet, we believe that animal care should be accessible to everyone and that animal health is directly connected to social well-being. That’s why we are developing an innovative social project that combines affordable veterinary care, job creation, and a positive impact on the local economy.
Our Future Project
Our project is built on four main pillars:
1. Social services for underprivileged families
Our commitment is to care for pets of owners in socially vulnerable situations—providing consultations, vaccines, neutering, and basic care for free or at symbolic prices. We follow the One Health principles, caring for the pet, the family, and the community.
2. Affordable veterinary health plan
We are structuring a veterinary health plan with fair prices and comprehensive coverage—including clinical care, emergencies, vaccinations, and exams. A model designed to guarantee security and peace of mind for pet owners without straining the family budget.
3. Job creation and professional appreciation
Our project also aims to generate jobs for veterinarians, technicians, and other professionals in the field—offering dignified work opportunities, continuous education, and professional appreciation. We believe that strengthening the veterinary sector is essential for developing public health.
4. Investment and economic impact
With support from a major lead investor and three American backers committed to the cause, our project has the potential to boost the economy, stimulate social entrepreneurship, and create a sustainable model of positive impact.
Dr. Jennyfer Bemfica
The founder of BEMFICA VET is Dr. Jennyfer Bemfica da Silva, a professional who brings together technical experience, social purpose, and an innovative vision in the health field.
- Academic background:
Graduated in Veterinary Medicine with technical training in Nursing, Jennyfer brings a multidisciplinary approach to health care.
- Experience in human health:
Over 10 years working at Hospital Albert Einstein, one of Brazil’s leading health centers, with experience in critical care, emergency, oncology, and cardiology.
- Experience in veterinary care:
She was a partner at a large veterinary hospital, where she led teams, performed surgeries, and implemented zoonosis prevention programs (diseases transmitted between animals and humans).
This unique combination of experience in human and veterinary health gives BEMFICA VET a differentiated approach, with focused attention on both animal welfare and public health.
